The Yorktown Sheriff's Office wanted to pass along that they have set up an email address for all exterior camera footage to be sent to (ring doorbell footage, security footage, etc.). The email address is: shield@yorkcounty.gov. Once you email the exterior camera footage to

shield@yorkcounty.gov, it is gathered by their Crime Analysis Unit and then shared with their Investigations Division. Sharing your exterior camera footage assists the Sheriff's Office with investigating ongoing criminal activities.

**Please remember that if you are actively witnessing criminal activity or suspicious activity, please call 911 and report it immediately. This way we can have our deputies en-route to your neighborhood.**
