Changes in the City of Newport News' Recycling Program

We wanted to inform you that the City is transitioning from one contractor (TFC Recycling) to another (Bay Disposal & Recycling). We are trying to minimize any impact if at all our residents may experience with this transition.

New Crosswalk at the Pool

We'd like to once again remind our residents of the crosswalk in front of our recreation center that was installed last fall. We are in the process of putting up signage to remind drivers that it is state law to stop for pedestrians. However, we warn our pedestrians to always look both ways, make sure cars are stopping and proceed with caution.  Please don't assume that the driver sees you or that he will stop.  Again, use extreme caution.

Revised Documents

Based on comments and input received from the from the Association's members and Neighborhood Advisors, the Board of Directors has authorized several changes to the Amended and Restated Governing Documents. Association Files Suit in Newport News Circuit Court

The Villages of Kiln Creek Owners Association was left with no choice but to file suit on Tuesday August 25, 2009, in Newport News Circuit Court against the City of Newport News and the City Manager, Randy Hildebrandt.

Golf Course Development Plans Filed Again

Two days ago the Board of Directors were notified that the most recent development plans submitted to York County by Mr. Ashe have been rejected as submitted. The Board will keep you up to date with any changes or new plans if they are submitted to either York County or Newport News.
