This page will be to learn about what the Board of Director's is currently working on to improve the neighborhood. Please check back often for a detailed list. During this Board term (April 2011 - March 2012), we are working or have completed the following:

• The Board continues to work hard to improve the safety of the community. We are still working with our security camera vendor to determine if license plate cameras are going to be feasible and a good solution to provide an additional security measure. Kiln Creek has also contracted with both the York County Sherriffs Office and the Newport News Police Department to have periodic patrols of the neighborhood. It is important to note that as a homeowner, you must be vigilant and be aware of your surroundings and what is going on in your neighborhood at all times. If you see something suspicous, plesae contact 911.
• The pool furniture has been replaced for the upcoming 2011 Pool Season.
• Additional tot lots are being put up along the Kiln Creek Walking paths.
• The KCOA Board has been approached by the golf course owner, Dick Ashe, offering to sell the golf course and the golf clubhouse to the Kiln Creek Owner's Association, subject to his intention to seek a conservation easement for the golf course. Because we owe it to our residents to carefully assess any scenario that protects our home values and our community, we've had talks with Mr. Ashe and continue to communicate with Mr. Ashe. As soon as we have more to announce, we will do so immediately.
